Hotlanta Softball consists of two seasons, Spring and Fall. "Fall Ball"
is co-ed with a mixture of all players from each division. It is intended to be just for the "fun of it" and
is a great time to get involved in the league.

Q: What are the Play Dates? A: There will be 4 weeks of play (Games at 9AM, 10AM, and 11AM) Week 1: September 23, 2007 Week 2: October 14, 2007 Week 3: October 28, 2007 Week 4: November 4, 2007
Q:Where is Fall Ball being played this year? A: For 2007, the venue for play are the softball fields at PIEDMONT PARK.
Q: How do I sign up? A: There will be a number of sign-ups events. Your fee must be paid BEFORE we assign you to a team and a form/waiver must be signed. You may send someone with your payment to one of the scheduled sign-ups (see the HSL Calendar for sign-up dates).
Q: What does it cost? A: The Fall Ball fee for 2007 is $30 REQUIRED AT SIGN-UP (NO REFUNDS)! This covers field costs and Fall Ball shirts. Payable by CHECK or MONEY ORDER ONLY!
Q: Is my fee required at sign-up?
A: Great question! Yes, please be prepared to pay your Fall Ball fees at the time of sign-up. No rainchecks.
Q: What if I have never played before? Will I have a hard time finding a team? A: Actually, Fall Ball is made up of random teams. We attempt to put 14 people on a team with the skill levels spread around as much as possible.

Fall Ball Rules
HAVE FUN
EVERYONE bats around in the line-up
10 Run rule apply (basically, if a team gets ahead by 10 runs in 1 inning, the 2 teams automatically switch and the other team comes in to bat until they score some runs (or 6 outs occur)
NO WALKS / NO STRIKE OUTS - umpires will keep calling balls until the batter hits
55 min time limit
Higher division players - PLAY DOWN! (we dont want ANYONE getting hurt)
Notes
We will be using the mens "used" Worth balls from the Spring
If a team is short players - they may borrow or pick up players from another team if desired
Second team listed is HOME TEAM
The more experienced players - Please help less experienced players if needed.
